Description: Antique Fort Pitt Bridge Works Canonsburg, PA Employee Pin Badge.It Was Worn by Employee #28.Small specks of blue and white paint can be seen on the badge that closely resemble the colors found on many older steel bridges in the Western Pennsylvania region.The Fort Pitt Bridge Works engaged in the construction of steel bridges & mill buildings 1886 to 1946. It has plenty of period correct surface distressing & wear. The pin back is still intact though frozen into it's clasp with corrosion.I put forth no effort to open to prevent any further damage.With the proper delicate cleaning you may be able to unlock the clasp.Please view photos and use your best judgement towards condition. Measures 1.5" Diameter.
