Description: Hi There & Welcome To My Auction Today for your consideration is a breathtaking French? I think, jewelry, music box. I know it looks like it's inlaid wood but I think these were for the tourist & made to fool the eye with its beauty. The music box plays well & maybe a Waltz. It has a beautiful blue silk or satin pillow button style inside lining. I bought it at a high-end antique store many years ago in Seattle, Washington. FLAWS: The feet were made like a jigsaw puzzle & over the years have lost bits & pieces of the feet. Shown in pictures. Also, I do not believe this is Inlay but faux. The mirror has aged poorly. Again as shown in pictures. There is one single spot on the pillow material on the inside right lower level. The dancers go up & down & although they used to twirl I guess over the years they decided to stop twirling. I believe this wonderful jewelry box of a reproduction of a very, very expensive inlaid jewelry box. Another flaw is there is old glue residue on the dancing man's tux. I will see if I can pick some of it off with the tweezers. A lot of work went into the making of this gorgeous piece, you see all the hand painting & highlights. Please see & enlarge each picture, as the pictures are a very important part of my description. I can combine shipping if you let me know. SMALL PRINT: Sadly, a few bad apples (scammers) have caused me to say I no longer accept returns or give refunds. So please enlarge the pictures & examine them carefully. Pictures are an important part of my description. Thank you. As always, may God bless you and yours, Kat
