Description: Beautiful length of antique French loom woven gingham homespun plaid. Fabulous harder to find black & more of a cream or natural tone than a white.A denser linen with possibly some flax. Marvelous old farmers linen, strong and substantial.Generally woven by farmers in the Alsace region and also areas of Germany. Circa about the 1920's-1930's range.Excellent for interior projects as well as bags, upholstery and an abundance of unique artisan and rustic farmhouse projects.Very nice overall condition for its age.
