More commonly made of full blue, pink or white colours the bi-colored combination are hard to find for this type of French urn-shaped opaline glass boxes with acorn finial. It is combining the classiс antique French robin egg blue shade of glass for the main body of the box mounted which is mounted on white 'boule de savon' base. The white base is white shade of opaline glass commonly known as 'bulle de salon' as it is glowing with shades of fiery red to colder pink when put at the sun/light. It is not easy to see the difference of colours on pictures as the white opalescent base on camera is of colder white shade. This antique French vanity opaline glass box is blown in a beautiful bowl-shaped form and mounted on glass foot.
