Description: Vintage, likely Antique, French Rococo 44" x 36" Mirror. While I cannot date this mirror, I can determine it's old and genuine. Upon close inspection it confirms it's age, yet it presents wonderfully! I can find no loss to the gesso gilt wood frame ... there are several cracks in the frame (see last picture for example), there is some slight foxing at the corner edges (see 2nd to last picture) and the backing is not original. There are two (old) layers of paper mirror backing, and if you look through the holes in that you can see the old nails holding the board to the mirror backing underneath (also pictured). Large size at overall dimensions of 44" Wide x 36" Tall. This impressive French Rococo Mirror requires nothing, yet it would benefit from a light wash before installing in your interior. My pricing INCLUDES TRANSPORTATION ... as this is an extremely fragile decorative art piece, that shipping is at my discretion. I would prefer to send via private carrier, but I may consider crating it for LTL Freight shipping. Either way, my promise to you if you offer price is accepted is that you will have this mirror in your hands at, or under, 3 weeks from date of received payment. It is also available for Local Pickup in Temple, PA 19560 ... obviously the best pricing would be accepted for local pickup as the considerable cost of transportation would be eliminated.
