Description: Solid bronze 20" tall statue of Ganesha. This is a 3 headed Trimukha with 6 arms. There likely isn't another statue identical to this in the world as it was hand crafted many years ago and made in a lost wax process. Lord Ganesha is the remover of obstacles and sure to bring luck. This fantastic statue is undated and unmarked, but was likely produced late 19th or early 20th century. Please see pictures to judge for yourself. The patina is quite dark and rich. It is solid bronze and weighs approximately 25 pounds. It is quite heavy. Not a modern cheap reproduction. The statue base is 7.5" square. Stands 20" tall and has an arm span of 13". He is portrayed here in a standing pose with cobra coiled at has feet. His 6 arms are extended each holding or displaying an item or pose of significance. Condition: shows wear as to be expected from age. Statue was likely dropped at some point as the tusk on the right side is a large crack in it. I took a picture at the best angle I could. Damage isn't noticeable when the statue is being displayed. There is also a slight crack in the base at his feet. This does not affect the statue integrity and is only a minor cosmetic flaw which is hidden by the snake. The statue condition is actually quite good. Has wonderful patina. Displays beautifully. It's a truly wonderful and impressive statue. Feel free to ask question.
