Description: This antique serving spoon was crafted by George Shreve & Co. in the mid to late 19th century. I believe the marking says 1861 or 1881. The fluted design on the bowl and the Grecian design on the handle adds a touch of elegance to this piece, making it a great addition to any collection. The spoon is made of coin silver (.900) and has been well-preserved over the years. One little ding on the side. It measures 8 5/8" long and 1 3/4" wide. Monogram is Fayette. It's perfect for use at the dining table or as a decorative piece. Will be well wrapped for a safe arrival.
