Antique Georgian Sterling Silver Coffee Pot London 1805 Urquhart and Hart (1625)

Description: A George III sterling silver coffee pot, made by Duncan Urquhart & Napthali Hart, London, 1805. Measures 10 1/4inches / 26cm high. Weighs 875g. Vase form with gadroon border. The body engraved with two scrolling foliate vacant cartouches below an engraved band of flowerheads, acorns and scrolling foliage. Leaf-capped reeded scroll handle with ivory insulators and similar leaf-capped spout. Stepped domed and hinged cover with a leaf-ball finial. Raised on a pedestal reeded footrim further engraved with scrolling foliage. Fully hallmarked with makers DU over NH; lion passant, leopard head, date letter K and monarch head. Good condition.
