Antique German 22” Max Handwerck Bisque Head Jointed Composition Doll 283/29

Description: UPDATE: I originally had this listed as Heinrich Handwerk but at the request of an eBay member I removed some of the glue and pulled up the wig to discover it is incised “Max Handwerk”Max Handwerck German bisque head and original composition jointed body (could not find a maker mark).The head is in good condition for its age couldn't find any cracks or hairlines the head is marked "Max Handwerck" and "Germany" along with the mold number 283/29. Light dirt/dust.The composition body is also in good condition with age related scuffs and wear. The legs do not remain straight when pressed back, you can see this in the photos. She has what appears to be her original wig glued to her head, blue sleep eyes that open and close easily. The doll stands approximately 22" tall. I have not cleaned this item aside from a light dust off. Light soiling, dust, old age toning, dents, paint loss could be present along with other minor wear consistent with age.
