Description: Old Disston hog splitter. For lack of another way to describe this it will basically split about any carcass straight down the center. The blade is 11 inches long and overall it's 16.5". It needs a handle. Weighs 1 pound 10 ounces. The steel at the hilt is 7/16" wide and tapers to about 3/16" at the tip of the blade. Definitely a heavy duty blade. It's carbon steel. See pictures.
