Description: An antique hammered copper pot pail bucket cauldron made from a single piece of copper; no seams whatsoever. Iron bail, handle. Bottom is rounded. This style is typically Amish made. Probably circa late 1800s. 12" wide at the top and 8.75" tall plus bail. Weighs 6 pounds 14 ounces. These are sometimes called apple butter kettles. This is the real deal folks. I found no sales in the last 60 days and no listings of anything like this. Scarce if not rare.
