Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This listing is for a very desirable, large antique Limoges jardinière with ornate handles and feet that have been gilded in two different shades of gold. A soft blue on the rim and the interior of the cartouches outlined in gold filigree provides a beautiful backdrop for the raised gold scroll work around the rim. The predominant peach tones of the roses provides an alternative to the more common pink and red shades. The two shades of gold on the ornate handles and feet give the piece a uniquely Victorian style. The jardinière measures 16 inches across the handles, 8 ½ inches across the opening and stands 10 ½ inches tall. It is marked on the underside with the green factory underglaze mark 3 that was used from 1894-1900 and has been signed by the artist Carrie Ernst 1895 as photographed. The jardinière is in excellent condition with minimal wear to the gold from age and use over the years. The camera flash tends to accentuate the gold loss on the rim, which is barely noticeable on display. There are no chips, cracks or damages of any kind. Please examine all of the photographs as they are considered part of the description and feel free to ask any questions that you may have…
