Description: Up for sale is a wonderful antique early 17th century Ming Dynasty Chinese pottery oil lamps.The rare examples are sculpted by hand out of thick terracotta and have a stunning bronze glazed finish.They feature a foo lion perched on square plinths with a small oil reservoirs behind the head.Both are in good antique condition and each measures 8 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/2 inches back to front by 3 inches wide.There is surface ware to the glaze and it has some chips on the ears of one sculpture.
