Description: Antique * Haynes Ware * Holland Sunset * Tobacco jar * humidor * vase* This vintage hand painted vase is part of the Haynes Ware collection created by D.F. Haynes and Son Pottery Co. also know as Chesapeake Pottery from Baltimore, Maryland. The company was founded in 1880 and closed in 1914. The pattern, Holland Sunset, was created around 1900. The piece depicts a scene of a windmill and farm houses with landscapes in bright yellow, green, and shades of white and purple. This rare vase rim measures a 4 5/8" diameter and a 4" diameter at the base . See the clear markings on the bottom of the piece. The vase is in great vintage condition. There are no chips and no cracks but it does have some flaws from manufacturing as well as normal wear marks . Also has glaze crazing. See the pictures for more details. Item is used and may show signs of wear and tear as normally expected for its age. Item is being sold as is, in pictured condition. Pictures are part of the description.
