Description: This is a lovely antique sterling silver fancy powder compact, perfume, and funnel set in its original presentation box. The compact and perfume are accented with a very fancy swirl design on the both sides. The compact is LARGE and measures 3 1/4 inches across. It opens up to reveal the powder compartment and mirror. The mirror is in excellent condition and the latch to the powder compact works perfectly. The perfume measures 2 inches tall and is meant to lay down, not stand up. It comes with its original dauber and little silver funnel. The dauber is in perfect condition along with the little funnel. Both the compact and perfume are monogrammed "Bertha" on the front side. A very rare name these days. All pieces are in extremely nice condition. They come in the original presentation box which shows a little bit of discoloration,age, and wear on the inside. Both the compact and the perfume are marked 950 sterling with a butterfly hallmark. I have not been able to identify this mark. I believe the set is from the late 1920's and was an import from Japan. It is in overall excellent condition.
