Antique Japanese Moriage Satsuma Earthenware Double Handle Vase Hand Painted WITH Figural Panels on its Front and Reverse Sides. Almost all of the decorations were CREATED with Multi-Colored Slip Trailing and Beading technique. Beautiful antique condition No cracks or repairs A few under rim chips on one vase (see last picture) Approximate measurements (each vase) Tall 12-1/2” Widest 5-3/4” Mouth rim 4-3/8” x 2-1/4” Mouth opening 1-1/4” diameter Base 3-3/4” diameter The vases don’t have any identifying marks, except for Workman Markings on the bottom side of one foot. According to the provenance of the previous owner, the vases were said to be made during the Late Meiji or Taisho Period, circa 1910-1920.
