Description: Art Nouveau influence is shown in this Limoges 12" vase. Quite a forward thinking design for a vase produced prior to WW1 and perhaps as early as the turn of the century. Before seeing the J P L mark I assumed it was a mid century vase. Very unique, there is plenty of hand painted gilt trim and the daisy petals are white enamel. The leaves and daisy centers are in a raised texture. The lovely, simple daisy design is on a powder blue bisque porcelain vase with cream colored handles a base. The body of the vase is translucent when held up to light. Very good to excellent condition. No chips, cracks or crazing and the gold trim is outstanding. Nice mark on the bottom, it is signed by the artist but I can't make quite make out what it reads...see last photo. Please see all photos to judge condition for yourself and ask if you have any questions or need additional pictures. Just a hair under 12" tall, 6" wide and about 3" deep.
