Description: This is a beautiful seven-piece set of porcelain plates from Jean Pouyat of Limoges France. It features one larger 8 3/8" diameter plate, and six 6 1/4" plates. They are decorated with a pale sky blue background with vining pink dogwood rose flowers. The artist signature "Piper" can be seen on the plates, painted in green. This set is in great antique condition, with no notable defects apart from slight wear on the gilding on the rims of the plates.
