Description: A good central Anatolian Kurdish prayer carpet. The carpet exhibits very good wool and shows good early 20th century colors so loved by Kurdish weavers from that time. A realistic age on the carpet is 1st quarter of the 20th century. There is a small chance it might date from the late 1890's or the 1930's. We do not view an earlier dating as likely. This is a beautiful piece of woven art. It could be restored, hung, or used as you see fit. These pieces are getting harder to find all the time..... Measures: 38 1/2" x 71".
