Description: This Antique Lafayette & Washington Commemorative.Hall & Son Lafayette Commemorative Creamware Pitcher British, early 19th century. A Hall & Son creamware pitcher, decorated with transferware images and inscriptions dedicated to General LaFayette and George Washington, in commemoration of LaFayette's 1824 visit to the United States Creamware Pitcher 1824, is in excellent condition! No chips and the colors are still vibrant. This pitcher is cream and black. It has pictures of both General Lafayette and President George Washington: "In commemoration of the visit of General La Fayette, to the U.S. of America, in the year 1824." The pitcher measures 4 7/8 inches tall, and 5 5/8 inches wide (includes handle and spout). Weight is approximately 295 grams. Some stains on the pitcher but these may come off as I only used a damp cloth to wipe it down. This is a rare find! BH 013 081524 250 275.
