Description: Hello and welcome! I will begin by saying that I don't know much about this primitive box, just what I've been told. I have two and am offering them as I found them years ago at a local estate sale here in the Finger Lakes. They need a home so I've taken quite a few pictures to help describe them but may not have captured what you are interested in seeing. Please ask if you'd like more pictures, it's not a problem. There are two boxes being sold separately, both with their original dust and such when I found them. This second box is the one on the left in the picture showing both. It's a slightly smaller one and in sturdy condition. There are a few splits to the wood that I've pictured, and someone wrote the numbers 26 1/2? on the lower bottom that you can see in the pictures. There's a very slight odor inside this box but it's not an offensive odor but rather one that comes from being closed up for many years. The lid fits easily and securely. Overall, I would say this pantry box/dry measure is in very good sturdy condition. I am using eBay's shipping calculator. If shipping seems too high, please let me know and I'll look for a less expensive option. There will be several shipping providers to choose from. I do combine shipping and never a handling fee. I like to repurpose shipping and packing materials whenever possible. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.
