Description: This is a very old Colliers Unabridged Edition The Works of Charles Dickens Volume IV (or Volume 4) This is a large book with beautiful illustrations. The pages are not written in, and are easily readable. The type face is small though, as was common in this age. There is no publish date but most likely it is from the late 1800s. The book shows some wear. The edges of the cover are frayed in areas in the corners have bump damage. The top and bottom edge of the spine have significant wear. The gold gilding is worn off on part of the cover. The cloth covering the front and back boards on the cover are worn. The edges of the pages look like they were once dyed red, but that is coming off in places. There is writing in the inside front cover. There is a split in the paper on the inside of the front cover spine area. The pages are tan due to age and have some spotting in areas. Large Book measures approximately 10.75 inches tall & 7.5 inches wide
