Description: Up for sale is this beautiful porcelain 13 6/8 X 8 5/8 serving dish with bronze floral handles and bronze beaded rim. They were made in the Italian town of NOVE near Bassano. The ceramic factory was established in 1727 and closed its doors in 1825. They first made tin glazed earthenware and in 1762 started making porcelain. The server is marked on the back with the red star which dates the making of this piece to around 1765. The server is in excellent condition for its age with no cracks, chips or repairs. I do have another one of these servers up for sale. Should you have any question about this item, I will be happy to answer them. Thank you for your interest.
