Antique Leather-Bound German Hymnal-"Evangelisches" ?-1883 Inscription

Description: Offered is this antique leather-bound German-language hymnal. The title page is missing so I don't know the title or printing date, but the title is embossed on the spine. The first word is "Evangelisches" but I can't tell what the second word is (see photo #2). There is a gift inscription dated 1883 that seems to indicate the book was given at someone's confirmation (see photo #3). The book has two sections; the first has 535 hymns, with words and music, and the second contains text, I think the readings for each Sunday of the year and other liturgy (see last two photos). The book is approx. 6" x 4". The hymnal section contains 461 pages, while the text section contains 96 pages. Overall the book is in fair to good condition, with some damage. The embossed leather cover has considerable wear, especially to the corners, edges and at the top and bottom of the spine. There is cracking in both the front and the back. The flowered endpapers are detached and somewhat soiled. Although most of the pages are well-attached to the binding, there are several other detached pages, as well, and some which are loose. As mentioned, the title page is missing, and I think the last page of the index is, too (the current index ends with "S"). The pages have yellowed but are mostly clean and clear, with occasional light to moderate foxing. Some of the gold on the long side edge of the pages is still intact. I see no writing in the book other than the gift inscription. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions.
