Description: Take this opportunity to own an OUTSTANDINGLY RARE & handsomely made monumental Lenzkirch table clock. Highest quality solid brass plate quarter strike 7-day wind suspension spring signed movement recently restored; silvered Roman numeral chapter ring mounts to 6 ½” square textured brass face with solid brass raised corner adornments; chimes on 2melodious coiled gongs; both movement & gong assemblies are mounted securely to case. Masterfully made high quality solid mahogany & veneered case adorned with intricately cast brass decorative elements; original front glass door is of brass frame with brass pull knob flanked by solid cast brass Victorian half columns; below front door is an impressive brass casting depicting musical trumpets & a musical score intertwined in the decorative casting; atop the front door is a grand double pediment roof with inset brass castings topped with a cast brass finial; rear door has sliding brass latch & contains a pierced metal sound screen covered with original fabric; both clock case side panels have solid brass handles; both front and rear doors open and close easily; clock case sets upon 4 solid mahogany wood cushion feet; all wood trim & decorative brass castings are fitted properly & securely fastened to case. Chiming correctly & running on time. APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS: height 21” x width 13” x depth 9” I am an antique clock collector wishing to reduce my clock collection. I am NOT a retailer. This clock comes from my collection & has been running successfully for several years with no difficulties. It has been tested prior to this offering. Clock set-up to establish the correct “beat” is paramount to the clock’s operation, accomplished through placement & leveling (sometimes with rotating the movement while in the clock case). Additionally, temperature& humidity may affect it over time as well. Do not over wind the clock. Lastly, I cannot not guarantee the clock’s operation once shipped. However, I do take pride as a seller and buyer of these clocks. All shipments will be wrapped in bubble wrap (key & pendulum wrapped separately) set tightly into box containing Styrofoam peanuts, tapped shut& then placed into second box filled with padding for added protection, taped shut on all sides.
