Description: Antique Mason Jar Half Gallon Mason's CFJ Co. Patent Nov. 30th 1858 Circa 1870C F J co. MASON'S PATENT NOV 30th 1858. Base embossed 1261. Has the start of a neat different color swirl on back side, a few bubbles but nothing open and no damage no chips or cracks. Has original ground lip. Measures 9" tall x 4.5" across base. Under cap, reads cap for mason fruit jars + porcelain lined +. Has a sun type symbol in middle. Top of cap has writing but mostly worn.
