Description: Our client's rare antique Japanese clock dating from the late 19th to early 20th century in the form of a taiko drum, or barrel, is finely cast with repeating scrolling foliate designs and dark brown patina. 13 1/4 in (33.6 cm). Brass 8 day time-only movement with cylinder platform escapement. Unsigned. In good condition with slight rubbing wear, scuffs, a crack to the glass over face. Not currently working.
