Description: Antique Mettlach Etched Stein 2035 Bacchus Draught 1 Liter Offered for sale is this antique etched Mettlach stoneware stein in a pattern of a drunken Bacchanal, known as "Bacchus Draught". Mettlach Abbey Mark and 2035 on the base. Inlaid lid with ornate decoration in relief. Late 19th century, circa 1897. The one liter stein is 8 1/4 inches tall to the top of the thumblift. It is 4 3/8 inches wide at the base. It weighs 3 lbs 4 oz (shipping weight 5 lbs). Condition: Very good, no damage. The only fault is that the lid does not quite lie flat over the front of the stein, as shown. Please see the detail photos. Domestic shipping is $7.95.
