Description: Antique Nassau Brewing Company Beer Bottle from Brooklyn 9.5 inches tall and aqua in color. Blown bottle with a few air bubbles trapped in the glass. Bottle dates to right around 1907 as other bottles with that exact age/date were found alongside it. This company had its small start as early as 1849. By 1884 it was bought by a group of businessmen that included William Brown who renamed the enterprise to Budweiser Brewing Company. The name lasted for a while but as they began to export outside of the local area of Brooklyn things did not sit will with the folks at Anheuser-Bush in Brooklyn. With an impending lawsuit the name was changed to the one you see here around 1898. Check out the pictures to see all of the embossing on this bottle as well as the condition. In dug condition, with NO damage but some wear and staining. Save on shipping on multiple purchases! If you buy a bottle, send a offer of $15 (for any other bottle(s) listed at $25 or less)
