Description: Antique Noritake 25-Piece Tea/Coffee Service in Melrose Platinum Coupe cir. 1965 Remarkable 25-piece set in its original packaging. Never used or even unpacked, this set is pristine and unblemished. The color is excellent and holds its original soft tone. Colors are even and I see no discoloration or damage to any piece. 10 Cups, 12 Saucers, 1 Creamer, 1 Sugar Bowl, 1 Pot I suppose the extra 2 saucers are for the Sugar and Creamer but they don't exactly fit the dugout on the saucer. Not sure what the deal is with that but each piece is gorgeous, regardless. The pattern is "Melrose (Platinum Coupe)" described as "Pale Pink Rose & Bud on Gray Stems." Soft, beautiful colors accented with metallic Real Platinum. Signed, "Noritake China Japan 6002 Melrose."
