Description: For your consideration is a beautiful hand-beaded black silk shawl, possibly from the Flapper era of the 1920s or possibly a vintage piece, but I am uncertain. It is in wonderful antique or vintage condition with only a couple seam stresses where the beads attach to the material. This is remarkable considering the heaviness of the intricately designed beaded 3.5 inch edge. The jet black beads are in excellent condition with all bead in tact and securely attached.The triangular shaped shawl measures approximately 58 inches on its long side x 36 inches on its two smaller sides. The shawl weighs in at 1 pound 1.7 ounces. You can clearly see that so much work went into this piece and it is quite lovely. You shawl will be very carefully and well wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped out promptly upon payment.
