Description: Antique Hand Carved Wood Ink Blotter. Rocker style. The felt has been replaced. We were told that this originated in Finland, which matches up with the name that is written on the underside of the top piece. The carving is intricate and all around. Beautiful condition. Measures 6 1/2" long and is 3 1/4" wide. There is a tiny piece of wood chipped off one corner. There are no other chips, cracks, or breaks. Most of the items that I sell are antique or vintage as as such they do show signs of patina, use, and age. That only adds to the character that so many collectors desire. If there are any major issues or defects, I try to describe them to the best of my ability and as accurately as possible.
