Description: Antique pair of 4 candle footed Gilt Candelabrum with Painted Porcelain figures in Cartouche - Dimensions are ; 14 1/4" high , 7 1/4" wide at its widest , 6 1/2" deep bases are 4 3/4" X 3 3/4" . Material is gilt steel and porcelain . This pair of candelabrum is of classic design , with volutes , swags , acanthus and other foliage. Each piece holds 4 candles , 3 in a triangular orientation and a center candle that is appr 1 1/2" higher than the 3. The cartouche and the center porcelain grip each have scenes of courtship painted on a robins egg blue ground ( examine the photos closely ). The candelabrum are footed and in beautiful condition.
