Description: Antique Palmer Method Handwriting Manual Cursive Penmanship Book Grade 5 & 6 This is a rare Palmer Method Handwriting cursive book for 5th & 6th graders. Penmanship was a requirement in bygone eras. Softcover book with 64 pages measuring approx. 8" x 4". Many years ago someone placed cellophane wrap on both the front and back cover; most of which is still in place. A great idea because in time, they easily tore. Overall, the covers look great. Due to the cellophane, it was very hard to read the publication date but I think it says 1928. Inside on the first page is the 2nd owners name who dated it 1935 (or does it say 1955??). We purchased this estate of the lady who wrote her name and she said it actually belonged to someone in her family. Other than that, I do not see any other writing within the book.
