The etching is 9” x 14.75” and the antique wood frame is 20.50” x 27”, matted and under glass. It has age appropriate wear but is in good condition for being over 120 years old. Usually, works by Slocombe end up in the auction houses so it is very nice that we have acquired 1 of his works from a fine old Denver estate. Fred Slocombe was a London painter of landscapes, coastal scenes and genre, better known for his work as an etcher.
