Description: Antique piñon incense burner, locally believed to be invented and designed by Santa Fe’s beloved artist Will Shuster. Active artist and founding member of Los Cinco Pintores and creator of Zozobra, Shuster could easily be called “the face” of the Santa Fe artists from 1921 until his death in 1969. "The Breath of the Southwest" manufactured by Pinon Studios, Santa Fe, NM. Smelling the aroma of burning Piñon pine from fireplaces throughout northern New Mexico is a unique experience in the cold months. This is the original design copied by later companies, complete in original box. Contains miniature horno oven, incense and original instruction pamphlet. (Note: the incense is still in the original bags, but crumbled - would recommend purchasing new incense sticks for use.)
