Description: A beautiful war/dance club. War club because the buffalo horns are filled (probably with sand) which gives the piece the weight of a war club. Dance club due to configuration of a traditional dance club. This one is substantial: 21 1/2" long, haft is .7" thick, and the horn spread is 8". The red paint is basically worn off the lower part of the haft due to a lot of use. There are two small wraps of buffalo fur and an unknown fur wrap and brass tack at the end. Because of the solid construction, the paint and the wear, I'm thinking ca. 1870s. A great addition to any collection (and you even have a 14-day return privilege). Sorry, no international sales.
