Description: Antique Pressed Glass Whale Oil Lamp, Blown Font, Waterfall Base, c. 1840. This whale oil lamp is very attractive with a pressed glass stepped waterfall base joined to a shaped blown font with a stack of wafers. This lamp has no collar or burner as it was manufactured. This originally had a drop tube burner, that is now missing. This whale oil lamp is offered with a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The lamp measures 7 1/8" H. x 2 13/16" Dia at the font, x 2 7/16" Sq. at the rounded corner square base. CONDITION: The lamp is in very good condition with some small chips and minor wear and nicks to the base. The lamp is missing it's collar and burner.
