Description: Gorgeous antique pulldown oil lamp with a cranberry swirl.globe and sparkling prisms. The pull down mechanism works fine and inside is a clear glass oil lamp with a new wick. The wick turner and old fill cap are working. These lamps were often used in hallways but would be equally at home in a parlor or bedroom. The metal fittings are brass. The overall measurement from the ceiling bell to the bottom of the prisms is 36 inches. There are 2 small chips on the fitter rim of the glass globe, shown in close up photos. These are not visible when the globe is sitting in place on the base of the lamp.
