Description: Antique RELIANCE INSTRUMENTS CO. Volt Meter TYPE-R GAUGE Steampunk Vintage This is an antique / vintage volt meter made by Reliance Instruments Co. of Chicago. This volt meter is large, measuring just over 6" in diameter and 3.25" deep. It weighs 4lbs 14oz. The front panel has great graphics, with embossed lightening bolts at the top. It also says "Volts Type-R Made by Reliance Instruments Co. Chicago USA." Two of the screws holding the front panel on are missing. The internal instruments appear to be there, including the needle. There was likely a glass panel on the front opening and a paper w the measurements. These are also missing. There are some surface scratches and a lot of the black paint has some off the front. The back has quite a bit of rust. This would look great restored or incorporated into steampunk piece. Please see all photos. If you have any questions, please message me. Thank you!
