Description: This antique weathervane dating back to the Revolutionary War era is a true gem for collectors of historical artifacts. Crafted from sturdy thick cast iron and pinned with copper, it is a rare find that speaks to the craftsmanship of the past. Overall it’s in solid shape physically with the exception of the “N” for north being broken off and the banner needing a pin. We have the N with us and can be repaired but has not been done yet in case a collector wanted the piece to be in its most original state. The piece measured about 83” tall and 40” wide.
