Description: A beautiful, ornate brass door lockset complete with knobs. This heavy brass set is patented 1899 and is in working condition, but could use a cleaning of its interior mechanism. There is no key. The mechanism and deadbolt are operational. The set has a good amount of age, patina and verdigris, especially on the side that was on the exterior of the door. See photos for a more complete condition. The set is heavy, weighing nearly six pounds. Set is marked "2045 RH" and 'PATD JUNE 6 1899" Backplates are about 3.5 wide by 12.5" high.
