Description: Antique Rookwood William Purcell McDonald Portrait Silver Overlay Pottery Vase The underside is marked Rookwood mark along with the artist cypher of William Purcell McDonald. Measures 6" in height, 5 1/2" in width, and is 2 3/4" in depth. There are a few very tight hairlines stemming from top rim. Glaze has a light crazing and some light scratches. There is a split to the silver overlay below top rim and above base. There is one small dent to overlay on top rim. I did not polish the silver because I know some people prefer a more aged appearance but it would polish up very well.
