It is a small rosary, for small hands. The rosary measures overall 14.5". The crucifix measures 1 1/8". The rosary weighs 7.0 grams. The beads appear to be ebony. They are dark in color. They are oval in shape, about 4mm. The pater beads are round, decorative carved, about 5mm. The centerpiece and crucifix appear to be crafted of brass. The centerpiece is heart shaped, with highly detailed decorative scrolling on front. It is plain/without marking on reverse. The crucifix also has a highly detailed design on front. The corpus appears to be soldered/fused into position. On reverse of the crucifix is marked RICORDO DI ROMA. The connective chain appears to be brass. The connective ring at the bottom of the drop (connecting the crucifix to the drop) is fused shut, an indicator of the advanced age of this rosary. There are 2 photographs of this. The rosary is in excellent to very good antique condition. It is sound and complete with all the original beads. It appears to have never undergone repair or replacement.
