Description: Antique Royal Vienna Hand Painted Girl Playing Mandolin Cabinet Plate Presented is an incredible quality, porcelain or fine china cabinet plate made by Royal Vienna during the second half of the 1800s. This piece is completely hand painted and gilt. The plate was made to be displayed as a decorative piece. The center is painted with a pretty peasant girl playing a mandolin or lute in the snow. The rim is beautifully painted and gilt with gorgeous bands of design. The rim has raised white paint dots. The underside bears the Royal Vienna beehive mark. This piece is in fabulous overall condition. Some of the raised white dots have come off, but this is hardly noticeable because of the white paint underneath each dot. There are no chips, no cracks and no repairs. The plate measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter. Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
