Harrison", cup plate is Lee-Rose #569. It is a very Historical cup plate, that honors Harrison's life. This cup plate was produced after his death while serving as President in 1841. He is referred to as both "PRESIDENT" and Major General here because of his fame and valor in that role during the war of 1812. This cup plate is listed in "A Guide To Sandwich Glass Blown Tableware, Pressed Cup Plates and Salts." By Barlow and Kaiser, plate #1414, where it was valued at $50 back in 1987. CONDITION: The condition is good with a rim chip and some minor nicks and rim roughness the only excuse. The flint glass dish does exhibit the manufacturing flaws prevalent in early flint glass.
