Description: Up for auction is an antique book which is a bound copy of "Scribner's Monthly" Magazine. The book is Volume 1 and covers 1870-1871. It contains interesting items and one of them is the story of Wilfrid Cumbermede - An Autobiographical Story. There are many wood block prints as well as engravings. This book belonged to Richard Arthur who was living in Bankok, Siam at the W. T. Seminary in 1871. I have 2 other books on ebay at this time that belonged to R. Arthur, which are bound copies of "The Century Magazine". I would be happy to combine items for shipping. Check it out. Check out my other interesting and eclectic items. If you have any questions, please email me. Thanks for looking and good luck. I can mail your item via Priority Mail. Your item will be well packed and padded, fully insured and trackable. These books qualify for Media Mail. Payment is appreciated within 5 days of the auction close. I usually ship within 1 business day of cleared payment. Often, I ship on the same day payment is made.
