Description: This is an antique oval Sheffield England ornate chased silver plate tray. See the last photo for the markings. Measures about 11" x 17 1/4" (not counting the handles).It sits on 4 claw feet about 1 1/2" high. It was probably used to carry stuff around - nothing would slide off the tray because of the raised lip. This piece is probably from the third quarter of 19th c.
