Description: Description: An antique silver "trowel" bookmark made by Adie & Lovekin Ltd of Birmingham. Weighs 3.8 grams. Identifying Marks / Makers Marks: Stamped A&LLD (maker Adie & Lovekin Ltd), an anchor (Birmingham), the lion passant (silver) and "g" (1906). Also has the lion passant stamped on the section where the handle joins the blade. Age / date of manufacture: 1906. Size: Measures 3 1/8" (7.9 cm) long and is 4/8" (1.25 cm) across the flat page marker section at the widest point. Condition: In excellent undamaged condition.
