Description: Antique inkwell in a floral repoussé pattern all over.The bottom of the inkwell is very shiny. There are markings, but the small dents make it nearly illegible. I was able to make out the number 135.I found an identical inkwell attributed to Simpson Hall Miller & Co. The color has darkened and I did not try to polish it. The inkwell is as I found itThe insert cannot be removed.The lid appears to not close completely depending on the angle you look at it.At the bottom the inkwell is 3 5/8" tall x 2 1/2" tall.Please see all pictures.
